Mateus, Capítulo 24



Ora, Jesus, tendo saído do templo, ia-se retirando, quando se aproximaram dele os seus discípulos, para lhe mostrarem os edifícios do templo.Mateus 24:1
Mas ele lhes disse: Não vedes tudo isto? Em verdade vos digo que não se deixará aqui pedra sobre pedra que não seja derribada.Mateus 24:2
E estando ele sentado no Monte das Oliveiras, chegaram-se a ele os seus discípulos em particular, dizendo: Declara-nos quando serão essas coisas, e que sinal haverá da tua vinda e do fim do mundo.Mateus 24:3
Respondeu-lhes Jesus: Acautelai-vos, que ninguém vos engane.Mateus 24:4
Porque muitos virão em meu nome, dizendo: Eu sou o Cristo; a muitos enganarão.Mateus 24:5
E ouvireis falar de guerras e rumores de guerras; olhai não vos perturbeis; porque forçoso é que assim aconteça; mas ainda não é o fim.Mateus 24:6
Porquanto se levantará nação contra nação, e reino contra reino; e haverá fomes e terremotos em vários lugares.Mateus 24:7
Mas todas essas coisas são o princípio das dores.Mateus 24:8
Então sereis entregues à tortura, e vos matarão; e sereis odiados de todas as nações por causa do meu nome.Mateus 24:9
Nesse tempo muitos hão de se escandalizar, e trair-se uns aos outros, e mutuamente se odiarão.Mateus 24:10
Igualmente hão de surgir muitos falsos profetas, e enganarão a muitos;Mateus 24:11
e, por se multiplicar a iniquidade, o amor de muitos esfriará.Mateus 24:12
Mas quem perseverar até o fim, esse será salvo.Mateus 24:13
E este evangelho do reino será pregado no mundo inteiro, em testemunho a todas as nações, e então virá o fim.Mateus 24:14
Quando, pois, virdes estar no lugar santo a abominação de desolação, predita pelo profeta Daniel (quem lê, entenda),Mateus 24:15
então os que estiverem na Judéia fujam para os montes;Mateus 24:16
quem estiver no eirado não desça para tirar as coisas de sua casa,Mateus 24:17
e quem estiver no campo não volte atrás para apanhar a sua capa.Mateus 24:18
Mas ai das que estiverem grávidas, e das que amamentarem naqueles dias!Mateus 24:19
Orai para que a vossa fuga não suceda no inverno nem no sábado;Mateus 24:20
porque haverá então uma tribulação tão grande, como nunca houve desde o princípio do mundo até agora, nem jamais haverá.Mateus 24:21
E se aqueles dias não fossem abreviados, ninguém se salvaria; mas por causa dos escolhidos serão abreviados aqueles dias.Mateus 24:22
Se, pois, alguém vos disser: Eis aqui o Cristo! ou: Ei-lo aí! não acrediteis;Mateus 24:23
porque hão de surgir falsos cristos e falsos profetas, e farão grandes sinais e prodígios; de modo que, se possível fora, enganariam até os escolhidos.Mateus 24:24
Eis que de antemão vo-lo tenho dito.Mateus 24:25
Portanto, se vos disserem: Eis que ele está no deserto; não saiais; ou: Eis que ele está no interior da casa; não acrediteis.Mateus 24:26
Porque, assim como o relâmpago sai do oriente e se mostra até o ocidente, assim será também a vinda do filho do homem.Mateus 24:27
Pois onde estiver o cadáver, aí se ajuntarão os abutres.Mateus 24:28
Logo depois da tribulação daqueles dias, escurecerá o sol, e a lua não dará a sua luz; as estrelas cairão do céu e os poderes dos céus serão abalados.Mateus 24:29
Então aparecerá no céu o sinal do Filho do homem, e todas as tribos da terra se lamentarão, e verão vir o Filho do homem sobre as nuvens do céu, com poder e grande glória.Mateus 24:30
E ele enviará os seus anjos com grande clangor de trombeta, os quais lhe ajuntarão os escolhidos desde os quatro ventos, de uma à outra extremidade dos céus.Mateus 24:31
Aprendei, pois, da figueira a sua parábola: Quando já o seu ramo se torna tenro e brota folhas, sabeis que está próximo o verão.Mateus 24:32
Igualmente, quando virdes todas essas coisas, sabei que ele está próximo, mesmo às portas.Mateus 24:33
Em verdade vos digo que não passará esta geração sem que todas essas coisas se cumpram.Mateus 24:34
Passará o céu e a terra, mas as minhas palavras jamais passarão.Mateus 24:35
Daquele dia e hora, porém, ninguém sabe, nem os anjos do céu, nem o Filho, senão só o Pai.Mateus 24:36
Pois como foi dito nos dias de Noé, assim será também a vinda do Filho do homem.Mateus 24:37
Porquanto, assim como nos dias anteriores ao dilúvio, comiam, bebiam, casavam e davam-se em casamento, até o dia em que Noé entrou na arca,Mateus 24:38
e não o perceberam, até que veio o dilúvio, e os levou a todos; assim será também a vinda do Filho do homem.Mateus 24:39
Então, estando dois homens no campo, será levado um e deixado outro;Mateus 24:40
estando duas mulheres a trabalhar no moinho, será levada uma e deixada a outra.Mateus 24:41
Vigiai, pois, porque não sabeis em que dia vem o vosso Senhor;Mateus 24:42
sabei, porém, isto: se o dono da casa soubesse a que vigília da noite havia de vir o ladrão, vigiaria e não deixaria minar a sua casa.Mateus 24:43
Por isso ficai também vós apercebidos; porque numa hora em que não penseis, virá o Filho do homem.Mateus 24:44
Quem é, pois, o servo fiel e prudente, que o senhor pôs sobre os seus serviçais, para a tempo dar-lhes o sustento?Mateus 24:45
Bem-aventurado aquele servo a quem o seu senhor, quando vier, achar assim fazendo.Mateus 24:46
Em verdade vos digo que o porá sobre todos os seus bens.Mateus 24:47
Mas se aquele outro, o mau servo, disser no seu coração: Meu senhor tarda em vir,Mateus 24:48
e começar a espancar os seus conservos, e a comer e beber com os ébrios,Mateus 24:49
virá o senhor daquele servo, num dia em que não o espera, e numa hora de que não sabe,Mateus 24:50
e cortá-lo-á pelo meio, e lhe dará a sua parte com os hipócritas; ali haverá choro e ranger de dentes.Mateus 24:51

And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.Mateus 24:2
And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?Mateus 24:3
And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.Mateus 24:4
For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.Mateus 24:5
And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.Mateus 24:6
For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.Mateus 24:7

But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:Mateus 24:20
For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.Mateus 24:21
And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.Mateus 24:22
Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.Mateus 24:23

And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.Mateus 24:30

Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:Mateus 24:32

Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?Mateus 24:45
Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.Mateus 24:46
Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.Mateus 24:47
But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;Mateus 24:48
And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;Mateus 24:49
The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,Mateus 24:50
And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.Mateus 24:51
